Now offering telehealth and in-person sessions in Illinois. North Carolina - telehealth only.

When I was 29, I “discovered” that I could interact with my inner world – and I was thrilled. I knew I couldn’t do it alone, and that I’d need guidance along the way. While the direction I needed to go in wasn’t all the way clear to me, going backwards would never be an option. Forty-seven years later, I’m still at it – content and happy to be a work-in-progress
I love working with people who are navigating key life transitions, identity concerns and complex relationship dynamics. Those three areas, and the emotions that naturally follow, can – and do – occupy a lifetime. I also love working with people who find themselves with existential questions. Attempting to consistently find meaning and purpose in a frequently baffling world is not for the faint-of-heart. And yet appears to be crucially important if one is going to have any hopes of finding contentment.
I am a diversely seasoned therapist with 27+ years experience, using CBT, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and the Enneagram. The use of mindfulness is a cornerstone of my practice.
